Second Level of Weekend Seminars from June 2016 to March 2017.

Jamshedpur, like all other towns & cities has its own share of stressed out youngsters  take to the rope, broken hearts and broken families, pressure of building a career takes  its toll on our young ones.

ASHA, the Association of Sacred Heart Alumni has taken the initiative to make a  difference to our Steel City which gives a great sense of belonging and Home of  generations for many of us.

Counselling is not a one day event. It’s a process. Therefore its learning is also a  process. 2 years back, ASHA (the Association of Sacred Heart Alumni) with the support of  the Steel Major organized a ten day training stretched over a period of five months. 43  Teachers from schools in Jamshedpur participated. We touched only the tip of the  iceberg.

ASHA Monsoon Camp for the Primary students of SHCS. 50 Students attended this camp in the School Primary Hall on Sunday,27th August 2017 (9 am to 5 pm).The camp had activities like contemporary dance, hand crafted cards, newspaper scoop, best out of waste.

DJ Nite 2016

ASHA organized DJ Nite on 20th Feb, 2016 for the students of SHCS. Around 800 students, Alumni members & teachers danced to the numbers played by DJ Mukhtar. A fun filled evening for the students especially after the stress of the final exams.

Monsoon Camp 2016

The camp was attended by 90 girls of standard II to standard VI of SHCS on 14th & 15th August, 2016.

It was 2 days of fun and learning for these youngsters after their annual exams. The activities conducted were yoga, aerobics, best out of waste, and cooking without fire. Read more ...

Presented during ASHA Annual General Meeting: 31st January, 2016.

An eventful year has passed since the last Annual General Meeting was held on 8th March, 2015. Let me present before you the activities carried out by ASHA in the past year.

Our organization ASHA is now a registered body. It was registered under ‘Societies Registration Act, 1860’ Government of Jharkhand on 23rd September 2014. This was possible due to the efforts of our President, Deepali Misra & other Office bearers. A special Thank you to Mr Pandey, father of Deepali Misra who helped us with the registration process.
