The Annual General Body Meeting of ASHA was held on Thursday, 22nd June at 5.30 pm in SHCS (Std 10D classroom).

Ms Manjeet Marwa took over as the new President of ASHA from Ms. Neera Nandwani. The core Members of her team are Ms. Reena Hazra (President Elect), Ms Sumita Ghosh (Secretary) & Ms Maharookh Mehta (Treasurer). The committee will have a tenure of two years.

ASHA (Association of Sacred Heart Alumni) ne aaj Convent school mein Project schools ke bachchon ke liye inter school pratyogita UDAAN ka aayojan kiya jisme 13 project schoolon ne hissa liya tatha bachchon ne barh charh kar apna hunar dikhaya.Solo Dance warg mein Carmel Bal vihar Sonari,Group dance mein DBMS kadma Gane mein KPS nml, Rangoli mein DBMS BH area, Mehendi mein Sacred Heart, Poster banane mein Bal Vihar ne baaji maari. Overall championship Carmel Bal Vihar tatha KPS Kadma ko mila. Karyakram ka shubharambh sister Mridula ne dweep prajwalit Kar Kiya... Smt Tiyali Mittar aur Smt Ruma Ganguly ne judgement kiya. Asha ke taraf se Manjeet Marwa (President), Sumita Singh (Secretary), Mahrook Mehta (Treasurer), Rina Hazra, G. Lalita, Anuradha Singh ne mil kar aayojan ko safal banaya.

Second Level of Weekend Seminars from June 2016 to March 2017.

Jamshedpur, like all other towns & cities has its own share of stressed out youngsters  take to the rope, broken hearts and broken families, pressure of building a career takes  its toll on our young ones.

ASHA, the Association of Sacred Heart Alumni has taken the initiative to make a  difference to our Steel City which gives a great sense of belonging and Home of  generations for many of us.

Counselling is not a one day event. It’s a process. Therefore its learning is also a  process. 2 years back, ASHA (the Association of Sacred Heart Alumni) with the support of  the Steel Major organized a ten day training stretched over a period of five months. 43  Teachers from schools in Jamshedpur participated. We touched only the tip of the  iceberg.

ASHA Monsoon Camp for the Primary students of SHCS. 50 Students attended this camp in the School Primary Hall on Sunday,27th August 2017 (9 am to 5 pm).The camp had activities like contemporary dance, hand crafted cards, newspaper scoop, best out of waste.

A workshop was organised by ASHA (Association of Sacred Heart Alumni) in collaboration with Centre for Excellence on Saturday, 13th May, 2017 from 6.30pm.

The workshop was conducted by our alumna Jane De'Souza.

Jane is considered one of the funniest writers in India today. Her novels include the recently released, Happily Never After, a hilarious love story; and the detective-comedy, The Spy who Lost her Head. She has also authored the best-selling laugh-out loud SuperZero series for children, now releasing its third book SuperZero and the Clone Crisis in as many years. She has written other books for children, stories, reviews and advertising campaigns which have travelled across the world. Jane is a management graduate and creative consultant and lives in Bengaluru.
