G LalithaMrs. G Lalitha (Seshadri) took over as the President of ASHA during the last AGM held on February 03, 2008, at the Tata Steel Zoological Park. She passed out of Sacred Heart Convent School 1975, and since 1981 she has been teaching physics and maths there. The following is her inaugural address as the President of ASHA.

ASHA organized an Inter-school Folk Dance Competition for the students of various schools in the month of April (28.4.07) to celebrate the festivities of the New Year Season, also our aim was to inculcate traditional values in our present generation.Around13 schools participated and the program was a big success.Colourful folk dances of different states like Mizoram, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Jharkhand etc. kept the audience spellbound. Shayne HyrapietA summary of ASHA activities in the year 2006-07. ASHA endeavors to not only to network the SHC alumnae but also give something back to the community. We invite you to come and participate.
  1. Immediately following the AGM, the Carmel Feast Day was celebrated on July 22, 2006. ASHA organized an Inter- school Antakshari Competition for teachers. The program was organized by Mrs. Rupali Patel. 20 teams from various schools participated in the preliminary round out of which 6 were short listed for the final round. The program was a very successful one as no such competition was organized for teachers earlier. Read more ...
