Musical EveningDear Ex Students,

You would be aware that Jamshedpur records the highest number of suicides in the country and the percentage of teenage suicides forms the larger part of this number.

ASHA - the Association of Sacred Heart Alumni has taken up the cause of suicides amongst the youth in our city and has established a counselling cell in the premises of Sacred Heart School. The cell functions with the help of trained counsellors and is open every evening except Sunday.

Association of Sacred Heart Alumni (ASHA) Annual General Meeting was held on February 10, 2013 at the School. Ms. Deepali Misra was appointed as the new President. On the ocassion three alumnae, Abha Vishwakarma, Smita Das and Sarbari Chowdhary were felicitated for their achievements!

SHC 1978 Batch Reunion1. We reached Jamshedpur on Oct 26th (Friday) 2012. Some of us reached in the morning and some others in the evening.  Eight of us stayed at The Sonnet. Others stayed with their relatives and friends.

2. In the evening of Oct 26th all the girls came over to The Sonnet and then we all proceeded to "The Madrasi Cafe" . Many of us were seeing each other after 34 years !

Reunion of Class of 1983

Sacred Heart School, Batch of 1983 have got together from across the country and abroad for a   flashback of the unforgettable memories of their school days.

The reunion happened over two days, which began on the 22 December with a grand welcome breakfast at the Beldih Club, followed by a visit to the School. The batch spent over two hours at school reminiscing the sweet memories of school and childhood.

Class of 1977‘Hail our School, Sacred Heart, Hallowed school Happy school thee we love … ‘ the strains of the school song rang out at the Tahiti Café, Beldhi Club Jamshedpur on 18th December 2011 as the batch of 1977-78 met for their reunion. Twenty seven gorgeous ‘girls’, two sisters and five teachers. What a wonderful mixture of nostalgia, laughter and great memories.

Over a sumptuous lunch the students and teachers reminisced of the old days, shed a tear for the three classmates no longer with us, Geet Kohli, Vidya Oak and Snigdha Tiwari. Another interesting pastime was trying to identify the girls from the class pictures of yester years.
