ASHA's focuses on the ex-students of SHCS, the School and the surrounding community

Objectives and Aims

ASHA's focus is on 3 different sections - the ex-students of SHCS, the School and the surrounding community. Broadly its objectives are:

  • To re-establish, promote and strengthen networking among old students, teachers, Sisters and the current students of Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamshedpur.
  • To aid and assist former and current students, teachers and Sisters of the School.
  • To help the school with its promotion, development and welfare.
  • Contribute positively to the surrounding community; especially help those lesser privileged than us.
  • To work towards the goal of gender equality and empowerment of women/girls in their academic, social and cultural pursuits.
  • And above all, promote gratitude to our Alma Mater and reinforce and its core values of Sincerity, Courage, Generosity and Service among the sorority.
