ASHA's focuses on the ex-students of SHCS, the School and the surrounding community

Welcome to ASHA!

Association of Sacred Heart Alumni was established in 1995. That was the year Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamshedpur, was celebrating Golden Jubilee. It was started by Sister Flavian, the then Principal of the School, with the objective of bringing together the ex-students of this half a century old School.

The founding President was Mrs. Daisy Irani, wife of the then Managing Director of Tata Steel, Dr. Jamshed J. Irani. The Association was welcomed with great enthusiasm among the old students of Sacred Heart Convent School settled in Jamshedpur and since then has gradually grown.

Today its affairs are managed by an Executive Committee with an annual calendar of events. Besides networking old students, ASHA has moved on to helping the School, its students and the surrounding community.
