Carmel Feast Day & DJ Nite
DJ Nite was organised on 16th July ’22 as scheduled amidst the uncertain weather. The monsoon rains with intermittent dry spells and heavy showers raised concerns... what if there was a downpour... ASHA alumni had their fingers crossed and waited for the clear skies. Nevertheless, the decision to go ahead was taken, and the skies had cleared for the dance and music. The overhead clouds were gone with the winds.
Music set the mood and the scintillating lighting and the magical numbers had everyone rocking. Luck had favoured the enthusiastic youngsters and ASHA organisers. The alumni of the 60s, and 70s though a few in number, danced and added to the fun. Dosas, chowmein with Manchurian, and ice cream were savoured after the new age grooving manoeuvres and Bollyhop dance. DJ Nite was enjoyed by one and all.
July 16th is also Carmel Feast Day, ASHA members visited the School in the morning to wish Sister Rashmita, the Principal and other Sisters. With love and affection, a Hamper of Cookies was offered to the sisters on behalf of the Alumni. A number of ASHA members accompanied the Committee members to the school.
