Monsoon Camp 2022
On August 1st, ASHA organised the Monsoon Camp from Morning 8.30 am to noon 2.30 pm. 125 Students of Std. V participated. It is an annual event of ASHA, which gives the students a break from the regular humdrum of books and classrooms.
Music and Dance
The session started with Music and Dance wherein the students were taught contemporary dance steps and Zoomba dance by Archana, a Choreographer and a Professional dancer. It was enjoyed by the students as well as the alumni members.
Handicrafts
The second session was taken by Sunanda Sinha our school alumna, who extended her expertise and know-how to the children, arousing their aesthetic sense. Designing flowers from decorative papers & tissue papers students learnt to make flowers with petals curved and painted and also put together forming bouquets.
Brain Gym Quiz
The Final session was taken by Khushbu Singh, another talented alumna of our school. Students were divided into six teams to answer the Brain Gym Quiz. The questions were grouped together as per the topics and customised to the students' standards. For every right answer, the Team representative was gifted a smiley brooch. The excitement was writ large on the faces of the kids. Students winning the maximum smilies were individual winners.
